Here is what our Photographer had to say:
I was able to walk all four corners of the property easily and the land was mostly flat. The area was covered with grasses and a few shrubs, but nothing else. Cell phone signal was excellent with 4-5 bars (Verizon).
The land is flat and was fairly easy to get to. The area is flat and would be easy to build upon, but would need to be off-grid.

It is land rich in natural resources and breathtaking landscape. It has proud Native American roots and culture that continues to thrive in the Navajo Nation, which represents two-thirds of Apache County’s population and over half of the land area. Check out more below to discover Apache County and its many scenic and recreational opportunities.

Petrified Forest National Park

Discover a landscape like no other. Drive through, take a backcountry hike, or learn how this all came to be at our visitor center museums. Petrified Forest National Park is in northeastern Arizona. In its south, the Rainbow Forest is full of colorful petrified wood. It’s home to the Rainbow Forest Museum, with its paleontology exhibits and many trail access points. In the park’s center are the petroglyphs of Newspaper Rock and the ruined village of Puerco Pueblo. To the north, the Painted Desert Inn, a 1930s adobe building, is a museum with Hopi murals.

Lyman Lake State Park

Near the White Mountains is Lyman State Park, an irrigation district reservoir popular for a variety of recreational activities. Enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, and water sports at an elevation of 6000 feet. There’s also a visitor center and park store where you can pick up day use and camping permits, hunting and fishing licenses, grocery items, and supplies for all your boating and fishing needs.

Canyon de Chelly National Monument

Canyon de Chelly is home to Navajo families who raise livestock and farm the canyons. The national monument was authorized in 1931 by President Herbert Hoover to preserve important archeological resources that span more than 5,000 years of human occupation.
Canyon de Chelly National Monument is a vast park in northeastern Arizona, on Navajo tribal lands. Its prominent features include Spider Rock spire, about 800-feet tall, and towering sandstone cliffs surrounding a verdant canyon. Inhabited by several Native American peoples for millennia, the area is dotted with prehistoric rock art. The White House Ruins and Mummy Cave are remains of ancient Pueblo villages.

Four Corners Monument

Part of the Navajo Nation Parks & Rec system, the Four Corners Monument marks the only point in the United States shared by four states: Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah. Take home a momento from your visit by purchasing authentic native art directly from the artisan at the thriving vendor market. When making plans, keep in mind that this is a rural area without accommodations and limited services.

Monument Valley Tribal Park

The Navajo Nation Monument Valley Park is one of the most photographed points on earth. Located on the Arizona-Utah border, the breathtaking red sand desert region is known for its towering sandstone buttes up to 1,000 feet high and miles of mesas and buttes, shrubs, trees, and windblown sand

On a scenic road trip through Northern Arizona, Monument Valley’s iconic landscapes inspire visitors.

Located in Northern Arizona, Monument Valley’s collection of crimson mesas and towering sandstone buttes captures colors that appear only in nature. The astonishing scenic beauty of the pristine desert landscape also reflects the reverence Arizona’s tribal communities have for the land. Please be respectful of Navajo Nation regulations when visiting Monument Valley to help preserve this ancient site.

Monument Valley is maintained as a visitor attraction by Navajo Nation Parks & Recreation. Visitors are welcome to drive the 17-mile dirt loop, Valley Drive, on self-guided tours of the valley. Multiple parking areas along the way bring many of the park’s most spectacular rock formations into view. Or set off on the only public hike in the valley, an easy 3-mile loop trail that takes visitors to Mitten Butte, one of the most iconic landmarks of the American West. Visitors can also join guided Jeep tours for up-close views of ancient cliff dwellings and natural arches in more isolated locations.

Wheatfields Lake

Located in the heart of the Navajo Indian Nation near the base of the Chuska Mountains, Wheatfields Lake offers abundant cold-water fishing, camping, and picnicking opportunities. It is a scenic lake on a paved road just east of the head of Canyon de Chelly. The lake is at a high altitude (7300 feet)
